Cybersecurity Engineering Instructor

With extensive industry experience, our Senior Engineer introduces Cadets to cybersecurity engineering principles, ensuring foundational concepts are clearly understood and practically applied.

Our Methodology

Academy instructors guide Cadets through concept-based Cyber Labs, incorporating ISAUnited Defensible Architecture and Engineering methodologies such as Security-by-Design and Threat Modeling and Risk Assessment; Defensible Standards covering Network Security, Cloud Security, Application Security & DevSecOps, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Vulnerability Management, and Security Monitoring & Incident Response; and essential Cybersecurity Recommended Principles including Discover, Detect, Defend (3Ds), Principle of Least Privilege, Zero Trust Model, Continuous Monitoring, and Secure Configuration Practices.

Conceptual Cyber Labs (Phase 1)

In Phase 1, Cadets engage with:

  • Instructor-led scenario discussions

  • Real-world cybersecurity incident examples

  • Interactive foundational labs without complex tooling

Phase 2 (future phase, pending high school curriculum adoption) will involve detailed cybersecurity tool integration for practical, hands-on training.

Future Cybersecurity Tooling Partnerships

We plan strategic partnerships with industry-leading cybersecurity tool providers for future detailed training in Phase 2, enhancing Cadets' practical skills and real-world preparedness.

Continuous Professional Development

Academy instructors continually update their knowledge and skills, ensuring they remain industry-aligned and effectively prepared to educate future cybersecurity engineers.
